JLCV is dedicated to leadership, community service and providing a legacy of trained volunteers.

Our Mission
The Junior League of the Champlain Valley is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Our Vision
The Junior League of the Champlain Valley strives to improve the quality of life for children, women and families at risk in the community through increased awareness, community partnerships and providing a legacy of trained volunteers.

For 20 years, JLCV was known as The Champlain Valley Junior Service League. In 2006, we were honored to be accepted into the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI).  We are one of only three service leagues accepted into AJLI in the past 5 years.  This honor will give us valuable training opportunities, national resources, and connection to thousands of women across the country who endeavor to make our world better.  While our name changed to Junior League of Champlain Valley, our commitment to our community is stronger than ever.

Since 1985, the organization has been a driving force behind the numerous charitable programs that make the Champlain Valley such a healthy and vibrant place to live. Each year, our 60 plus members contribute more than 4,000 volunteer hours to the community.
